Established the organization’s first design system as a unified source of truth, bringing clarity and consistency to AppleCare Digital at scale.

Supported 65+ system customers and partner teams across 12+ experiences, reducing drift, speeding design and review cycles, and helping teams ship with quiet confidence.

A closer look at the problem.

The lack of standardized foundational elements and component usage along with no centralized source of truth has led to inefficiencies and inconsistent user experiences across AppleCare Digital.

Existing process relied on individual expertise and informal reviews, so guidelines lived in people’s heads. That made decisions hard to find, hard to trust, and easy to miss.

Without clear, shared standards, reviews repeated the same basics, slowing delivery and pulling time away from solving critical customer problems.

Over time, inconsistent application led to variations across surfaces. The experiences drifted, which weakened cohesion and lowering confidence in the overall quality.
